Peter Segall brings more than 35 years of experience as a senior counselor/practitioner of public affairs, issue and crisis management, thought-leadership, public-awareness and advocacy program development, strategic communications and media relations, coalition and alliance-building.

A DC-bar admitted attorney, he has frequently supported teams focused on legislative, regulatory and legal objectives. He is a strong proponent of advocacy strategic planning rooted in the “Three As” approach of building awareness; shaping attitude and driving action. While he has worked across many sectors, particular areas of focus include health; international; tax and trade, energy, automotive and Native American affairs.

Peter has also played a central role in conceiving and co-executing an array of public awareness programs, including Free Them Now (successfully securing the release of over 200 Moroccan POWs); Save Our Seniors (averting Congressional Medicare spending cuts); Gone For Good (safe disposal of unused medicines), Return on Health (global thought-leadership platform for a major pharma senior executive ; Progress You Can See (to help policymakers literally “see” and appreciate the value of implantable (and thus invisible) medical devices), and When It Matters Most (to address pervasive misunderstanding about end-of-life hospice care).

Before starting his own firm, Peter spent 21 years as a senior executive with the global communications firm Edelman, where he served as Managing Director of its Washington, D.C. office.
